Food insecurity is a serious problem in the U.S., but we are turning things around in Louisa County! Although under-employment, poverty, and rising food prices are hardships for residents on fixed incomes, we acquire and distribute healthy food to all who need help for themselves and their families to assure they have enough to eat to avoid hunger. Additionally, we provide Dental Assistance Vouchers, stock the Community Closet with clothes and household items, and make referrals to other service organizations in the area. We are here to serve our neighbors.
